Liang Gou is a research staff member in the USER group at IBM Almaden Research Center. His research interests broadly lie in the fields of information visualization, visual analytics and sensemaking, human-computer interaction, social network analysis, and information retrieval. Currently, He is working on user modeling with rich social media, and designing interactive visualization to help understand people's social behaviors in the context of social media.
