I am currently a PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Purdue University where I am working at the Visual Analytics for Command Control and Interoperability Center (VACCINE) with Prof. David Ebert. I received my Bachelors degree from Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering (Dual Major) Dept. at Kyung Hee University in South Korea, 2008. My principal research interest is in developing efficient visual analytics methods. In particular, my research focuses on geo-spatial and temporal social media data analytics to solve real-world problems, including but not limited to: abnormal event detection and human movement analysis.
