GRIVAPP 2027 Call for Papers

22nd International Conference on Computer Graphics, Interaction, Visualization Theory and Applications

February 26–28, 2027, Valletta, Malta


The International Conference on Computer Graphics, Interaction, Visualization Theory and Applications brings together researchers, engineers, and practitioners across the fields of Computer Graphics, Information Visualization, and Human-Computer Interaction. It serves as a central forum to explore advances in modeling, rendering, animation, information and scientific visualization, interactive environments, user interaction techniques, and human-centered design.

The main conference areas include:

  1. Modeling, Rendering, Animation and Simulation
  2. Interactive Environments and Human-Computer Interaction
  3. Information and Scientific Visualization

Paper acceptance will be based on quality, relevance to the conference themes and originality. The conference program will include both oral and poster presentations. Special sessions, dedicated to case-studies or specific subtopics, as well as technical tutorials, dedicated to technical/scientific topics, are also welcome.

  • Regular Paper Submission (1st stage*): September 15, 2026
  • Position Paper / Regular Paper (2nd stage*) Submission: October 22, 2026
  • Proposals for Workshops and Special Sessions: October 2, 2026
  • Proposals for Tutorials, Demos, and Panels: October 2, 2026
  • Abstract Submission: December 3, 2026


All deadlines refer to AOE time, i.e. "Anywhere on Earth".

If authors wish to receive an earlier notification, they should submit at the first submission stage.

Instructions

Authors can submit their work in the form of a complete paper or an abstract, but please note that accepted abstracts are presented but not published in the proceedings of the conference. Complete papers can be submitted as a Regular Paper, representing completed and validated research, or as a Position Paper, portraying a short report of work in progress or an arguable opinion about an issue discussing ideas, facts, situations, methods, procedures or results of scientific research focused on one of the conference topic areas. Regular and position paper submissions must be anonymized for the double-blind review process, which will involve two or more expert reviewers. All submissions must be prepared in English and the use of artificial intelligence-generated text must be disclosed.

All accepted complete papers will be published in the conference proceedings, under an ISBN reference, on digital support (e.g., see the proceedings from GRIVAPP 2026: https://doi.org/10.5220/0000216700004728). SCITEPRESS is a member of CrossRef (http://www.crossref.org/) and every paper on our digital library is given a DOI (Digital Object Identifier). The proceedings will be submitted for indexation by SCOPUS, Google Scholar, DBLP, Semantic Scholar, EI and Web of Science / Conference Proceedings Citation Index.
