2011-05-16: Job: PostDoc position in Multimodal analysis and Interaction, University of Fribourg, Switzerland
The DIVA group (University of Fribourg, Switzerland) is currently looking for a postDoc to contribute to the development of a multimodal application in the framework of the IM2 NCCR and to help supervising PhD students in the domain of Pattern Recognition and Human Computer Interaction (Gesture Recognition, Document Analysis, Multimodal Interaction, etc.)
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in multimodal data analysis (or in document, image, video or speech analysis) and some knowledge in Interaction Design (with some interests for Human Computer Interaction). Speaking French or German would be a plus.
The postDoc will be financed for a period of 1 year (with possible extensions) and should start as soon as possible, with a compensation of roughly 74'000 swiss francs per year, depending on previous experience.
