Temporal data refers to a series of data originating in one concept (stochastic variable) yet varying over time and ordered accordingly.

Definitions

Temporal data is data that varies over time.

Remarks

Applying exploratory (esp. timelines) as well as confirmatory methods, temporal data can be used to analyze the influence of time on a certain variable.
