Google assigns a numeric weighting from 0-10 for each webpage on the Internet; this PageRank denotes your site’s importance in the eyes of Google. The scale for PageRank is logarithmic similar to that of the Richter Scale. This image helps articulate the magnitude of difference between a rank of 1 and 2 or 2 and 3, etc.
