IEEE PacificVis 2013, February 27 - March 1, Sydney, Australia

Call for Papers[edit]

The 6th PacificVis Symposium (Pacific Visualization) will be held in Sydney, Australia from February 27 to March 1, 2013. PacificVis is an IEEE sponsored international visualization symposium held in the Asia-Pacific region, with the objective to foster greater exchange between visualization researchers and practitioners, and to draw more researchers in the Asia-Pacific region to enter this rapidly growing area of research. PacificVis is a unified visualization conference, welcoming all areas of visualization research such as: information, scientific, graph, security, software and bio- visualization. Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished research and practical applications in all areas of visualization. We encourage papers in any new, novel, and exciting research area that pertains to visualization.

  • Paper submission deadline: September 26, 2012, 11:59pm (PDT)
  • Notification of acceptance: November 21, 2012
  • Camera-ready papers due: December 7, 2012

The papers should be original and not previously published. Papers will be refereed and accepted on the basis of their scientific merit and relevance to the workshop topics. All accepted papers will be published by IEEE and also included in the IEEE Digital Library. Authors of selected research papers of outstanding quality will be invited to submit an extended version to IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics.
