For the FIT-IT Semantic Systems Project RAVEN (Relation Analysis and Visualization of Evolving Networks), the Department of New Media Technology of [www.modul.ac.at/nmt MODUL University Vienna] is seeking outstanding candidates for open positions as researchers and PhD candidates. * A degree in computer science, information systems or a related area  (applicants about to finish their studies are encouraged to apply)
* Excellent programming skills preferably in Java or Python
* Specialization or interest in one or more of the following fields:

*#  NATURAL LANGUAGE PROCESSING, TEXT MINING, INFORMATION RETRIEVAL

The positions are available as of October 2007 for the duration of two years. PhD candidates receive Euro 32,500 per annum.
