Semantic Zoom

In contrast to ordinary graphical zoom, semantic zoom does not change the graphical data, but the density of information. Instead of only changing visual detail and scale, semantic zoom also adjusts the contents that are displayed, working on the intrinsic structure and the meaning of data.
