2011-09-21: Job: Data Visualization Developer for PwC, location flexible

Our US Thought Leadership group conducts research and delivers strategic insights for our clients. We are looking to improve in the area of data visualization because our clients benefit from getting timely insights through clear and engaging information graphics. Our new data hires are likely to participate in 1-3 major Thought Leadership projects each quarter.
We're looking for a Data Visualization Developer who can design and implement data visualizations in collaboration with PwC Thought Leadership writers. This person:
- Can make amazing thing happen with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Is likely fluent with a JavaScript charting library, like Raphael, D3 or Polymaps
- Understands data visualization principles (Tufte, Few, Fry)
- Has some experience with data analysis and exploration (e.g. Processing, R, Tableau, database tools)
- Is interested in learning of new programming languages and interactive techniques
- Is interested in creative approaches
- Is skilled in interface design
