News:2015-09-07: CFP: Special Session on Information Visualisation and Machine Learning: Techniques, Validation and Integration at ESANN 2016 (Deadline: 20 November 2015)
Call for papers: special session on "Information Visualisation and Machine Learning: Techniques, Validation and Integration" at ESANN 2016
European Symposium on Artificial Neural Networks, Computational Intelligence and
Machine Learning (ESANN 2016). 27-29 April 2016, Bruges, Belgium - http://www.esann.org
DESCRIPTION:
This special session aims at exploring how information visualisation (infovis) techniques can help researchers and practitioners in machine learning. Example issues that are welcome in this session entail the validation of results of visualisation techniques from machine learning, the use of interactive techniques to help exploration of data, how machine learning techniques can help improve information visualisation, integrated visualisation and mining (VM), etc. Experimental use cases are welcome.
This special session aims to provide practitioners from both communities a common forum of discussion where issues at the crossroads of machine learning and information visualisation could be discussed, in the wake of discussions such as [1, 2].
