Jeffrey Heer is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Stanford University, where he researches information visualization, human-computer interaction, and social computing. He has led and/or advised the development of the Prefuse (Java), Flare (Flash), and Protovis (JavaScript) visualization toolkits.
