WOLFGANG AiGNER
Wolfgang Aigner is assistant professor at the Institute of Software Technology & Interactive Systems at Vienna University of Technology, Austria and works at the Centre for Visual Analytics Science and Technology. He was involved in a number of basic and applied research projects and has authored and co-authored several dozens of peer-reviewed publications, mainly in the area of interactive visualization of time-oriented data. He is one of the authors of the recently published book "Visualization of Time-Oriented Data" (Springer, 2011) that is devoted to a systematic view on this topic. His main research interests include visual analytics and information visualization, human-computer interaction (HCI), and user-centered design.
