Call for Student Volunteers IEEE VisWeek 2008
19th IEEE Visualization Conference 14th IEEE InfoVis Conference 3rd IEEE VAST Symposium
Oct 19 - 24, 2008 Columbus, Ohio, USA
Student volunteers provide essential support to the IEEE VisWeek 2008 Conference. Their enthusiastic participation enhances the conference experience for all attendees. At the same time, student volunteers benefit by observing first-hand the latest advances in visualization, hearing talks from world-renowned visualization professionals, meeting the next-generation of the visualization community and building a network of research colleagues.
We invite all reliable, hard working and enthusiastic students to participate in the conference as student volunteers. Student volunteers will receive many benefits such as:
- Free conferences/symposium registration (including all proceedings and conference DVD)
- Tickets to receptions.
- Part coverage of very discounted accommodation costs.
- A volunteer thank-you party.
To apply and for more information regarding the VisWeek Student Volunteer program, selection guidelines and benefits go to:
