Niklas Elmqvist is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Aviz lab at INRIA in Paris, France. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology (Gothenburg, Sweden) in December, 2006. His research interests include the following:
- Information visualization
- Human-computer interaction
- 3D interaction
- Visual analytics
- HCI in computer games
Current research projects include visual analytics environments and techniques, interaction techniques for visual exploration, and large-scale graph visualization.
