Position: Assistant Professor Position in Interactive Visualization of Large Data Sets

SHORT PRESENTATION

Research: Research in interactive visualization (information visualization, analytic visualization, data mining), especially for very large data sets. This research will take place in the IC2 Group (Interaction, Cognition and Complexity) within the context of the VIA (Advanced Visualization and Interaction), BILab (Common Lab in Business Intelligence with EDF R&D) and DBWeb (Data Bases and Web) projects. Candidates are expected to have a strong research record (significant publication activity, participation in national and international seminars and conferences, etc.)

Teaching: Courses at the undergraduate and graduate level (Licence3-Master1 and 2) and in continuing education, especially in the following areas: programming languages and paradigms, data structures and algorithms, human-computer interaction, data visualization, data mining, business intelligence, machine learning.
