ZoneFox and Edinburgh Napier University are embarking on a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) that will allow ZoneFox to use the visualisation expertise of the university to develop the next generation of security visualisation capabilities for generating insight through visual exploration and discovery of relationships in customers' business data.

ZoneFox is concerned with monitoring & reporting on the security of business systems & data. With its award winning technology, ZoneFox markets itself as operating as a User & Entity Behaviour Analytics platform with a specific focus on "insider threat" - accidental or malicious sharing of business critical data, intellectual property, introduction of malware and anomalous behaviours.

The aim of this project is to promote ZoneFox into an industry-leading position where data is converted into actionable "knowledge" through meaningful, insightful and story-telling visualisations that allow the user to connect different data points and recognise patterns that are not obvious when looking at individual data points, thereby discovering new knowledge. As ZoneFox looks to develop a new class of visualisation tool, this involves a large degree of research and specialist skills that the University brings to the project.

An employee of the University, the KTP associate will be located in ZoneFox Holdings Ltd, Edinburgh. You will work closely with the ZoneFox product and engineering team in order to help deliver on the KTP project objectives.

Candidates should have MSc or PhD in Computer Science/Informatics with experience in visualisation design and implementation.

An enhanced professional development package is provided.

Closing date: Thursday 31 May 2018. Interviews will take place on Friday 22 June 2018.
