Specific areas of research are:

  • Visual Analytics for Geo-Spatial Temporal Re-Construction of Situations in Criminal Intelligence Analysis
  • Visual Analytics for Insight Generation in Criminal Intelligence Analysis
  • Interactive Feature Selection and Projection of High-Dimensional Data for Criminal Intelligence Analysis
  • Ethically Informed Design for Addressing Legal and Privacy Issues in Criminal Intelligence Analysis

Successful candidates will carry out their research with a team of international collaborators in context of an EC funded FP7 project, based in the Interaction Design Centre, School of Science and Technology.
