Professor Sheelagh Carpendale is seeking a bright and energetic post-doc to work on research in information visualization. This position is made available through Sheelagh Carpendale and Saul Greenberg’s recent award of an iCORE Industrial Chair, sponsored by iCORE and SMART Technologies, Inc.

As a post-doc, you will primarily work with Sheelagh Carpendale, but will also have many opportunities to interact with other faculty members and students. You will be encouraged to propose collaborative projects of your own.

Ideal candidates will have a proven track record that demonstrates high-quality independent research. Of particular interest are candidates with interests in collaborative information visualization and visualization on large displays. Ideally, a candidate should be willing to commit to a two year post-doc.

The position will be located in the Interactions Laboratory, a rich community of students, researchers and faculty that specialize in many aspects of Human Computer Interaction and Information Visualization. Calgary is 45 minutes by car from the Canadian Rockies!
