&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;New page&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;Maria Riveiro received her PhD in Computer Science from Örebro University (2011) with a thesis entitled “Visual Analytics for Maritime Anomaly Detection”. The main research questions tackled were the analysis of large amounts of maritime traffic data, the detection of interesting events as well as the visualization and interaction with the data and the data mining models. Dr. Riveiro is currently senior lecturer at the University of Skövde, Sweden, and has academic and industrial experience in the areas of visual analytics, data-mining, visualization, and information fusion.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
