Keith Andrews is a tenured associate professor at the Institute of
Interactive Systems and Data Science (ISDS) at Graz University of
Technology, in Austria. He has a B.Sc.(Hons) in Mathematics and
Computer Science from the University of York, England, and an
M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Technical Mathematics/Computer Science from Graz
University of Technology.

Having done work in the fields of computer graphics, 3d worlds,
hypermedia, and the web, he is currently pursuing research in the
fields of information visualisation and usability. Keith helped
organise the very first IEEE Symposium on Information Visualization in
1995, was program co-chair in 2001 and 2002, and general chair in
2005.

Keith teaches undergraduate level courses on Internet and New Media
and Human-Computer Interaction, and graduate level courses on
Information Visualisation and Information Architecture and Web
Usability, as well as various courses and tutorials at
conferences and for companies.

Keith Andrews is an associate professor at the Institute for Information Processing and Computer Supported New Media [http://www.iicm.tugraz.at (IICM)]at [http://www.tugraz.at Graz University of Technology], in Austria.

His interests include hypermedia, human-computer interaction, computer graphics, and the web. He has a B.Sc.(Hons) in Mathematics and Computer Science from the [http://www.york.ac.uk University of York], England, and an M.Sc. and [http://www2.iicm.tugraz.at/keith-phd Ph.D.] in Technical Mathematics/Computer Science from Graz University of Technology.

Having lead the [http://www2.iicm.tugraz.at/harmony Harmony] (Unix/X11 browser for [http://www.hyperwave.com/d/ Hyperwave]) and VRwave (VRML browser) projects for several years, he is currently pursuing research in the emerging field of information visualisation.
