=== Instructions ===

Authors can submit their work in the form of a complete paper or an abstract, but please note that accepted abstracts are presented but not published in the proceedings of the conference. Complete papers can be submitted as a Regular Paper, representing completed and validated research, or as a Position Paper, portraying a short report of work in progress or an arguable opinion about an issue discussing ideas, facts, situations, methods, procedures or results of scientific research focused on one of the conference topic areas. Regular and position paper submissions must be anonymized for the double-blind review process, which will involve two or more expert reviewers. All submissions must be prepared in English and the use of artificial intelligence-generated text must be disclosed.

All accepted complete papers will be published in the conference proceedings, under an ISBN reference, on paper and on digital support (e.g., see the proceedings from VISIGRAPP 2025: [https://doi.org/10.5220/0000196500003912 https://doi.org/10.5220/0000196500003912]). SCITEPRESS is a member of CrossRef ([http://www.crossref.org/ http://www.crossref.org/]) and every paper on our digital library is given a DOI (Digital Object Identifier). The proceedings will be submitted for indexation by SCOPUS, Google Scholar, DBLP, Semantic Scholar, EI and Web of Science / Conference Proceedings Citation Index.

A short list of presented papers will be selected so that revised and extended versions of these papers are planned to be published by Springer in a CCIS Series book (final approval pending).

Furthermore, we would like to inform that the event will be of hybrid nature, in the sense that online presentations of accepted papers will be possible for those authors that are unable to travel to the venue.

The EuroVis Posters and Demos track will present late-breaking results, work in progress, follow-up extensions, application case studies, or evaluations of existing methods relevant to the field of visualization at EuroVis 2025 in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg during June 2–6, 2025. In particular, this track provides young researchers, especially postgraduate students, with valuable opportunities to receive feedback from other researchers and engage in stimulating discussions. Addition of the opportunity to present hardware or software demonstrations may also be of particular interest for practitioners.

We solicit poster and/or demo submissions in the form of an extended abstract of at most 2 pages in the EuroVis poster format, with an additional page allowed for references only, submitted as a PDF file.

The intended presentation form during the Posters and Demos conference session must be indicated during the submission process (printed poster and/or live demonstration). In case of a poster presentation, the draft of the actual poster (A0 format, portrait orientation) is mandatory to include with the submission. In case of a live demonstration, a supplementary video is mandatory. We strongly encourage the submission of further additional materials.

Contributions must be written and presented in English. EuroVis 2025 Posters and Demos submissions will undergo a one-stage single-blind review process, with the reviews provided by the international program committee.

The material in the submission can later be reused by the original authors for a more extensive publication (e.g., a full paper) with more detailed content and mature results, without being considered self-plagiarism.

With this call for full papers, we invite original submission of high-quality papers that will set the standard and stimulate future trends in the field of visualization and visual analytics. Accepted full papers will be published in a special issue of Computer Graphics Forum, the International Journal of the Eurographics Association, after a two-stage peer-reviewing process. All accepted papers will be presented orally at the conference.

EuroVis 2025 (https://www.eurovis.org) will be held in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg on June 2-6, 2025.

We encourage submissions from all areas of visualization and visual analytics.

Suggested paper types and topics include, but are not limited to:

*Techniques: novel algorithms, visual encoding methods, and/or interaction techniques for data analysis, exploration, or communication. All sub-areas of visualization and visual analytics are welcomed, including high-dimensional, time-series, spatial, geographic, text, hierarchical, and network data. Techniques may be specialized for specific devices or form-factors (e.g., mobile or wall-scale visualization).
*Systems: new software frameworks, languages, or tools for visualization; systems for large-scale visualization; integrated graphical systems for visual analysis or interactive machine learning; collaborative and web-scale visualization systems.
*Applications & Design Studies: novel use of visualization to address problems in an application domain, including accounts of innovative system design, deployment and impact. We welcome diverse application areas, including the physical sciences, life sciences, social sciences, engineering, arts, sports, and humanities.
*Evaluation & Empirical Research: Comparative evaluation of competing visualization approaches; controlled experiments to inform visualization best practices; longitudinal and qualitative studies to understand user needs, visualization adoption, and use.
*Theory: models of visual encoding, interaction, and/or analysis tasks; implications from theories of perception, cognition, design, and/or aesthetics; methods for automated design or visualization recommendation.

== SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS ==

The maximum length for submitted papers to the full papers track is 10 pages (in Computer Graphics Forum (CGF) style, including all images and acknowledgements, but excluding references).
References should not exceed 2 pages. Authors are encouraged to use supplementary documents to provide extra content. Papers exceeding the maximum allowed number of pages will be automatically rejected.

Submissions must be made using the Computer Graphics Forum style, using the conference [https://www.eurovis2025.lu/fileadmin/files/egPublStyle-EuroVis_full-short-stars-posters-edu_2025.zip LaTeX template] for full papers which includes a sample document explaining the required format LaTeX2e Style template.

Authors have the option to submit their papers anonymously. In contrast to previous years, double-blind reviewing is optional, not required: authors may choose to disclose their identities to the reviewers. The reviewing process does not consider anonymity as a factor. The process will attempt to preserve anonymity of authors of anonymized submissions. However, the program committee, which is responsible for half of the reviews, will know the authors of submissions reviewed by them. This is required for selecting reviewers without conflict of interests. Please take note that submissions may be checked for plagiarism.

Authors have the option of submitting additional material with their submissions. Supplementary materials, such as videos and supporting data, are encouraged. For papers that have previously been reviewed for other venues and have been rejected or withdrawn, the authors are strongly encouraged to provide the original submission with a cover letter describing the changes they have made to comply with reviewers' comments and requests.

All full papers accepted to EuroVis appear in a special issue of Computer Graphics Forum, containing the conference proceedings, and will appear at the same time in the Eurographics digital library.

Authors can submit their work in the form of a complete paper or an abstract, but please note that accepted abstracts are presented but not published in the proceedings of the conference. Complete papers can be submitted as a Regular Paper, representing completed and validated research, or as a Position Paper, portraying a short report of work in progress or an arguable opinion about an issue discussing ideas, facts, situations, methods, procedures or results of scientific research focused on one of the conference topic areas.

Regular and position paper submissions must be anonymized for the double-blind review process, which will involve two or more expert reviewers. Paper acceptance will be based on quality, relevance to the conference theme and originality as part of the peer-review process. The conference program will include both oral and poster presentations. Special sessions, dedicated to case-studies and commercial presentations, as well as technical tutorials, dedicated to technical/scientific topics, are also envisaged.

All accepted complete papers will be published in the conference proceedings, under an ISBN reference, on paper and on digital support (e.g., see the proceedings from VISIGRAPP 2024: [https://doi.org/10.5220/0000183300003660 https://doi.org/10.5220/0000183300003660]). SCITEPRESS is a member of CrossRef ([http://www.crossref.org/ http://www.crossref.org/]) and every paper on our digital library is given a DOI (Digital Object Identifier). The proceedings will be submitted for indexation by SCOPUS, Google Scholar, DBLP, Semantic Scholar, EI and Web of Science / Conference Proceedings Citation Index.

A short list of presented papers will be selected so that revised and extended versions of these papers are planned to be published by Springer in a CCIS Series book (final approval pending).

A short list of best papers will be invited for a post-conference special issue of the Springer Nature Computer Science Journal.

Furthermore, we would like to inform that the event will be of hybrid nature, in the sense that online presentations of accepted papers will be possible for those authors that are unable to travel to the venue.

The EuroVis 2024 poster track will present late-breaking results, work in progress, follow-up extensions, application case studies, or evaluations of existing methods. In particular, it provides young researchers, especially postgraduate students, with valuable opportunities to receive feedback from other researchers and engage in stimulating discussions.

We solicit poster submissions in the form of a sketch (i.e., an extended abstract of at most 2 pages in the EuroVis poster format, with an additional page allowed for references only) submitted as a PDF file. Contributions must be written and presented in English. We also strongly encourage the submission of additional materials. The poster draft itself can also be added as additional material (not mandatory for the initial submission, but mandatory for eventual camera-ready submission of accepted posters). Please note that the submissions will undergo a double-blind review process.
