The UNOG Centre for Advanced Visual Analytics (CAVA) provides solutions for Development specialists to enable the analysis and understanding of complex information. Our purpose is to provide expertise in data visualization and visual design to facilitate understanding of key issues and support the implementation of the UN Millennium Development Goals. CAVA offers services in consulting, training, and tools to support UN and Development organizations in making the most of their information to achieve results.

The mission of CAVA is to create advanced analytical solutions that provide economics, education, environment, health, social science, and public policy professionals specialized capabilities to analyse and understand collected data. Our goals are to -

* Enable and improve analytical capabilities with specialized methods and tradecraft.
* Provide technology transfer of advanced tools to support advanced analysis.
* Educate information analysts with specialized skills and methods of visual analytics and data exploration.
