Under CSIRO policy only those who meet all selection criteria can be appointed.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1. A tertiary qualification in computer science, mathematics or equivalent&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
2. At least 5 years’ experience in the interrogation of scientific data through various means such as visualisation or data analytics &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
3. Demonstrated experience in at least three of the following: &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
*Modern programming languages such as Python, and JavaScript &lt;br /&gt;
*Big data visualisation platforms using Jupyter, R and D3.js&lt;br /&gt;
*​​Software engineering best practices, including requirements analysis, agile methodologies and assuring quality through the use of appropriate testing and validation suites.&lt;br /&gt;
*3D graphics, modelling, animation and rendering tools such as Unity3D and Maya.&lt;br /&gt;
*Interactive web-based presentation of complex data.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
