The Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (FENS) at Sabancı University invites applications for a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor position in the areas of Cloud Computing, IoT, Cyber-Physical Systems, Visualization, Computer Graphics, Human Computer Interaction, Software Engineering. Applicants with strong academic credentials will be considered, but we will in particular seek scholars having hands-on experience on modern tools and techniques in these fields. The successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses, to supervise graduate student theses, conduct funded research, and publish in prestigious journals and conferences. Responsibilities also include service to the department, faculty, and university in general, in the form of student mentoring, committee work etc.

As a small university, we are especially interested in candidates whose research complements the existing research areas and who can help lead, initiate, and participate in collaborative research projects within the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at Sabanci University. Potential or demonstrated excellence in research is expected, as measured in the form of publications in high quality journals and conferences.

The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering, with a strong research and publication record. Candidates who can bring new research perspectives to FENS, and also demonstrate the potential to collaborate with existing FENS faculty members will be preferred. Sabanci University, a privately funded premier academic institution, started instruction in the 1999-2000 academic year in its new state-of-the-art campus located in suburban Istanbul. The University offers 12 undergraduate programs and 23 graduate programs in three faculties (Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, School of Management). The University aims at establishing a high standard of academic excellence and a research-oriented atmosphere both for its faculty and for its students, while nurturing productive relationships particularly with the industries in the region which constitute the industrial heartland of Turkey. The medium of instruction is English.

Sabanci University was ranked as the best University according to the "University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Index" compiled by the Turkish Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology since 2015, and ranked 2nd in 2013 and 2014. It is also the first Turkish private university to be included in the top 200 (182nd place) of the Times Higher Education (THE) 2014 Rankings and is ranked 13th among the universities under 50 years old worldwide.

Computer Graphics International Conference (CGI) is the official
conference of the Computer Graphics Society (CGS). One of the few truly
international computer graphics organizations, CGI and CGS were started
by Professor Kunii in the early 1980's as CG Tokyo. CGI conference
is one of the top recognized international
computer graphics conferences. Key research papers have been
published in the proceedings of CGI, which are actually published as
journal papers. Recent conferences have been held in Germany, Canada,
Switzerland, Hong Kong, USA, Greece, China, Brazil, to name a few.

This truly international conference will be the real place to present
the latest original work and also exchange ideas. It will be held in the
first time in Turkey, in the beautiful city of Istanbul. All
topics of computer graphics can be proposed. (For list of topics, SEE

35 BEST RANKED PAPERS WILL APPEAR IN THE HIGHLY RECOGNIZED JOURNAL
"THE VISUAL COMPUTER" PUBLISHED BY SPRINGER IN THE SAME TIME OF THE
CONFERENCE. SHORT PAPERS WILL BE PUBLISHED WITH AN ISB NUMBER IN LOCAL
PROCEEDINGS PUBLISHED BY THE CONFERENCE.
